Song of the Day: His Strength is Perfect

 In music

It’s been way too long since I had a SotD post! What a great one to come back, too, though. This song from Steven Curtis Chapman has been one of my all-time favorites for many years. It has such a beautiful message of encouragement for those who may be walking through a time where they feel, by all accounts, at their weakest. The song reminds us that in our weakness, God is still strong, and when we feel like we’ve come to the end of our own rope, God hasn’t even scratched the surface of all He is able to do. It brings to mind the following Scripture:

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weakness, in insults, in hardships, in persecution, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

I hope you enjoy this song today as much as I do! If you feel weak today, be encouraged – He is still strong!
